I'm really into this hair thing again apparently

I don't know how to say this...so I'm just going to say it...I'm a (mild) product junkie, and I'm obsessed with hair boards, albums, blogs, and videos.


WHEW!

It felt good to get that out.

Whatever.

All these other hair addicts are killing me.   I've been pretty consistent in my hair care regimen for years and I pretty much use the same types of products all the time.   I will occasionally venture out and try something new, but dammit, I damn near lost my mind earlier this week.

So I'm stalking my usual innanet spots, and I see a lot of talk about some Brazilian products...Skala...

Everybody and their momma is going on and on about how Big Lots always has the products for $1 and about how good the products are....  *sucks teeth*

Well, I had the 'dacity to listen to these chicks and jet outta work fighting this stupid Lafayette traffic in an attempt to go buy up all the Skala products at my local Big Lots....   *sips wine*

I went in that muhfugga and aint not a Skala product in there.   WHA HAPPEN?!

I was so hurt.   I was led on.   So right now, while some chick is sitting at home with some dollar mask on her hair...im sitting here still salty.  lol

It's all right.   I've found some products that I really love recently.

OH....which ones, you ask?   well, looka hurr...

The only one that I haven't tried is the Suave Damage Control leave-in...but I did buy it when I wasted my time going to Big Lots...

In other hair news...I haven't shampoo'd my hair in a week and a half.   I dont know the last time I've gone this long without shampooing...and I've actually only cowashed a few times too....The fact that I was super busy last week and almost work 70 hours and ended up with some mystery illness/sinus infection and wasnt working out greatly contributed to this feat.     While I wasn't washing my hair, I realized that I was very, very close to waist length...

I might even be there...I can't get a good grip on my hair when it's wet....

According to this nut, President Obama and his administration are wrong and even "un-American" for putting their "boot heel on the neck of BP."   

Now, I think it's quite odd that I live around people that make their living from the oil industry, and I have yet to hear anything remotely similar to this come out of their mouths.  

We're being too hard on BP, huh?   Fuck BP and the way they've been misleading everybody about the severity of the situation.

I appreciate being able to see some clips from the congressional hearings on AC 360 last night..and it really makes me happy to know that more and more information is getting out to the public about what happened and is happening now, but I'm tired of people like this making reckless and moronic statements.

YAY MEXICANS FOR BEATING THE FRENCH AT PUEBLA!

Ummm....ok...This has been three weeks of extreme transformation.  I went from not even wanting to drive to having a car AND a license in three weeks.    Yes, the State of Louisiana decided that I was capable of operating a motor vehicle today...and what?      I even have an LSU alumni tag in the front of Molly lol...

This totally beats last May 5th.  I had a scope done...I mean, the drugs were cool and all but yeah...

What else happened today?   OH!   This was my first visit to my doctor to get my Adderall RX since the debacle I had at the end of March.  (In case you don't know how this works...for prescribed Schedule II drugs, doctors can write scripts for them for one month...no refills.  A lot of doctors will write two or three months at once and postdate them with the understanding that you must come back in for periodic checks before your next set of scripts will be written.   Adderall is an amphetamine mix so the checks are to make sure it's not having ill effects on blood pressure or the heart...or weight...*cough*).    Since I didn't have a blog that nobody reads back then, let me recap...

• Body weight decreased steadily since my first non-Adderall visit back in September 2009
• Ceased high protein diet and intense weight training in October 2009 and began smoking cigarettes again
• RX'd Adderall in December AFTER weight had already begun to drop
• Accused of being a drug addict, selling/giving away my pills in March 2009 by the doctor who chose to start me on the meds
• Stopped smoking and started back working out after that horrible visit

Okay, now you're pretty much caught up...I left out many details but who wants to hear about alladat?

So like I was saying, I had my follow up today.  My weight went up.  Scripts were written.  I came home.   WUT?    I went from being Lindsey Lohan to being treated like my normal self in a little over a month...He probably just wanted me out of the office because I was chatty at that point because the pill I had taken this morning while studying for my written test at the OMV had worn off.   lol

And because this has gotten too random, I'll save the other stories for when I wake up in a few hours.

Mark Levin Interview with man that was aboard Deepwater Horizon

Unless you've been living under a rock or have been in a coma for the past two weeks, I'm sure you have at least heard about the explosion and subsequent sinking of the Deepwater Horizon in the Gulf of Mexico on April 20th and 22nd, respectively. Eleven men missing and presumed dead. Oh, and anywhere between 1,000-5,000 barrels of crude oil spilling into the gulf. I'm not going to go into the effects that this spill can and will have...not today, at least.

I wanted to post an audio clip that my boyfriend received. My boyfriend had done work on that rig several times. He was very adamant about safety being taken seriously on there, and he doubted that human error was the cause of all of this.

Don't take his or my word for it.  On Mark Levin's radio show on April 30th, a man who asked to be called  "James," called into the show and gave his perspective of what happened the day of the explosion.  He was on the rig during that time, and had worked on the Horizon for the last three years.

He answered the first question I had when I found out that the rig was burning.   What was the ignition source?  And WHERE was it?  

Anyway, take a listen please.  There is way too much speculation going on right now, and too much blame being placed when no one knows for sure what really happened.

Every once in a while, random, weird, and oddly sexual things happen to me...

For instance, several months ago, some coworkers and I went to lunch, and when we got our numbers to go on the table, they had numbers close in range...like 23 and 26...wanna know what number I got???

Yeah, I was kinda upset lol...

Well, tonight, I'm trying to sign up for Hairlista.com and I get to the section where I'm filling out my email and password.  I have to do a captcha thingy,  and I get the weirdest words...
